🧄 “Os alhos também fazem chorar" arose while I was cutting garlic in my kitchen, when I started photographing for this series.

These photographs speak about the passage of time under the conscious exercise of thinking about it and the finitude of life. The physical distance I am from the place I still consider "home" was the inspiration to start photographing, with the intention of preserving memories related to places, small gestures and events, retaining them in a luminous place.
